It is still with amazed eyes that Chloé, trainee at Les Petites Jupes de Prune tells you behind the scenes of the shooting of the winter 2017 collection...
"Today, August 31, marks the start of our big shooting day for the winter 2017 collection!
It is in the heart of Paris that with Prune we reach, arms loaded with a thousand and one skirts, the location of the shoot: the Saint Marc hotel. On the spot, we find the photographer, Alice and our three models for a day Coline, Clémentine and Juliette.
In the hall, stress and excitement intertwine. The places are sublime, of art deco inspiration with an Italian touch and seem perfect to showcase the new collection!
Head to our suite reserved for the occasion! A large bedroom, with high ceilings and vintage furniture... Not to mention the golden yellow and azure blue of the curtains...
After a few lettuce leaves swallowed on the corner of a table (we still work in fashion!), we start setting up the shoot! The skirts are sorted on the kingsize bed, some ironed at the last minute, the shoes are wisely placed in rows of onions and the cropped tops hung on hangers.
Start of the shooting in the common areas to leave us the best for the end (our suite)! Juliette, Coline and Clémentine put on their skirts and it's relaxed, smiling (a little crazy?) that they lend themselves to the shooting game! We love it when they take a few dance steps in a skirt. The hall, the bar area, the restaurant or even the patio, each place lends itself perfectly to the looks of the girls! Our eyes feast! We enjoy, we enjoy...
The icing on the cake, the hotel agrees to privatize the spa for us. The girls put on their bodysuits, slightly low-cut, then their long pleated skirts. Suffice to say that they didn't wait long to get in the water! After a few attempts, the pictures look more like two widows drowned in the middle of a luxury spa, but we had a good laugh...!
Back in our suite, drying off and girl talk are on the agenda. But we reassure you, we quickly get back to work: Alice, exploit every corner of the room! We don't want to miss a beat...
Then comes the time to shoot a little making off video of this afternoon shoot to make you relive this crazy day in a place that would make more than one dream!
The end of the shoot is coming to an end... but before packing everything up, we are having a little glass of champagne to celebrate the launch of this new winter collection that we are in a hurry to show you..."
