Our wardrobe adapts to all morphologies but we are missing something: more sizes so that our skirts fit all legs. Moreover, some already go up to L/XL. And since we always want more, we would like to go beyond the 44, do you follow us?
10 years ago, only one model of skirt sat proudly on our clothes racks: the little one with pockets. At the start, 10 variations, today more than 50. You know the song, new skirts, tops, dresses have joined it… also available in several prints. So, I'll let you do the math of everything we have, the newcomers have to jostle to find a place in the showroom! We like to challenge ourselves so here we go..
Our greatest satisfaction is that you feel beautiful in our clothes. We received your messages, comments, and our discussions with you at the workshop made us realize that we still had work to do for all of you/dressing us! It's a project we've had in mind for some time, just like everything we do: we're taking it step by step.
For each collection the team goes through the stages of idea, reflection, research of fabrics, prototypes, all that stuff. An alignment of planets -and neurons too- in a way.
To propose new sizes it's a bit the same. It takes time to study your expectations, find the best compromises. We would like you to participate in this project. How ? Simply by giving us your opinion ! (appointment at the end of the ticket)
We feel it, it's time to embark on this adventure, and it would not have been possible without this famous alignment of the logistical, financial and creative planets.
Yes, because each project brings with it its share of adjustments to be made!
- Logistics to accommodate new sizes in the showroom, we tidy up, we reorganize, we push the walls (well, we haven't succeeded yet), so that the entire production chain can adapt and follow our rhythm.
- Financial because Les Petites Jupes de Prune is a self-financing company. Just us, just for you. Developing new sizes has a cost, represents stock, so we are thinking about the best way to offer them to you in order to continue to produce as accurately as possible.
- Creative since the next collection is already being considered, stay tuned. But also, development involves changes to our patterns, a new gradation of sizes, basically rethinking everything.
